At Edge Builders, we do a lot more than just talk about quality. For one thing, we’re born and bred in Hamilton and have decades of local reputation behind us. In fact nearly all of our jobs are referrals. What better proof of quality is there!

Colin Edge

Managing Director

Building has always been in Colin's blood, with his father’s building company employing him during his school holidays, then providing him with his building apprenticeship when he left school at age 17. When Colin's father Graham retired in 1997, Colin started Edge Builders, continuing the quality workmanship the Edge name has become synonymous with. Colin is a Licensed Building Practioner with over 30 years of building experience.

One of Colin's greatest strengths is the ability to listen to his customers, and then use his extensive knowledge, and the highly experienced team that works alongside him, to exceed their expectations.

Colin's Team

The highly experienced team at Edge Builders have extensive knowledge of their trade and consists of five fully qualified builders, three of whom under-took their apprenticeship with either Colin or his father, along with a number of apprentices who work alongside us. Colin's sub-contractors also understand and live up to the quality expectations Edge Builders have for each and every build.

Edge Builders are registered as Licensed Building Practitioners. This means that you can be safe in the knowledge that your job will be completed to the highest standard.
